Payless Africa "Shika Soo" Onboarding Campaign - Terms and Conditions
1. Campaign
1.1 Payless Africa is running an onboarding campaign called "Shika Soo" (Sheng for "Earn 100 Shillings") to encourage new customers to join the Payless platform.
1.2 New customers who complete the onboarding process during the campaign period can earn KES 100 or 1GB of free data. Customers MUST dial *661# within 72 hours to choose their reward.
2. Eligibility
2.1 This campaign is open to all new Payless Africa customers who:
Are 18 years of age or older.
Reside in Kenya.
Successfully complete the onboarding process, including KYC verification and wallet activation, during the campaign period.
Have not previously registered or held an account with Payless Africa.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Campaign Period
3.1 The "Shika Soo" campaign runs until 31st October 2024, Payless Africa reserves the right to modify the campaign period at its discretion. Any changes to the campaign period will be communicated through official Payless Africa channels.
4. How to Participate
4.1 To participate in the "Shika Soo" campaign, new customers must:
Download and Install: Download the Payless Africa application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it on their compatible mobile device.
Registration: Complete the registration process by providing accurate KYC information. This includes:
Customer Phone Number OTP Confirmation (Level 1 KYC): Verify their mobile phone number by entering a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS.
ID Number or Passport Number Confirmation (Level 2 KYC): Provide their valid Kenyan National ID number or passport number for identity verification.
Level 3 KYC: Complete the verification process by submitting clear images of their ID document and a live selfie for facial recognition.
Wallet Activation: Activate their Payless Wallet by completing the wallet verification process. This includes confirming their KYC information and providing a unique wallet identifier that allows them to make payments and transactions through the platform.
Reward Selection: Dial *661# after completing the onboarding process (KYC and wallet activation) to select their preferred reward.
5. Reward Selection
5.1 Upon completing the onboarding process, customers MUST dial *661# within 72 hours to choose their reward.
5.2 Customers can choose between:
* KES 100: KES 100 will be credited directly to their Payless Wallet.
* 1GB Free Data: 1GB of free data will be credited to their mobile phone number registered with their Payless Africa account. This option is only available to customers on the Safaricom network.
5.3 If a customer does not select a reward within 72 hours of completing the onboarding process, they forfeit their eligibility for the reward.
6. Reward Fulfillment
6.1 The selected reward will be credited to the customer's account within 2 hours of making their selection via *661#.
6.2 The 1GB data reward is valid for 30 days from the date of activation.
7. Limitations
7.1 The reward is limited to one per customer and can only be claimed once after successful KYC validation and wallet verification.
7.2 Payless Africa reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the campaign at any time without prior notice.
7.3 Payless Africa's decision on all matters relating to the campaign is final and binding.
7.4 This campaign is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
7.5 Payless Africa is not responsible for any technical issues or failures that may prevent customers from participating in the campaign.
7.6 Once Reward is Chosen ( After Dialing *661#) The Selection Cannot be Changed. Payless will Only Choose the First Reward Requested.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 Payless Africa reserves the right to disqualify any customer suspected of fraudulent activity, including creating multiple accounts or providing false information.
8.2 Payless Africa is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred by customers in connection with this campaign, except to the extent caused by Payless Africa's negligence or breach of these terms and conditions.
8.3 Payless Africa makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the quality or suitability of the rewards offered in this campaign.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
