1. Campaign Description
1.1 Payless Africa is celebrating 500,000 customers by launching the “ASANTE 500K PAYLESS CUSTOMERS” campaign to CELEBRATE, ENGAGE, and REWARD #Payless users with various rewards, including cashbacks and data.
2. Eligibility
2.1 This promotion is open to all Payless Africa customers with active and verified accounts.
2.2 Customers must complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process as required by Payless Africa and applicable regulations.
2.3 Each customer is eligible to WIN only ONE reward during the seven-day campaign period.
2.4 Rewards will be granted based on KYC identity verification, meaning users with multiple registered numbers (MSISDNs) will be considered a single customer.
3. Campaign Period
3.1 The campaign will run until the 17th of November 2024. Payless Africa reserves the right to modify the campaign period at its discretion. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.
4. Reward Categories
4.1 Customers can participate in the campaign by fulfilling specific criteria within a single day as follows:
Add Money via M-PESA: The first 500 users daily who add 500 KES or more via M-PESA will receive a cashback of 500 KES.
Add Money via Bank: The first 100 users daily who add 500 KES or more via bank transfer will receive a cashback of 500 KES.
Social Media Congratulatory Posts:
Instagram/TikTok: The first 100 users daily who post a congratulatory video for #Payless500KStrong, tag @payless.africa, and use #Payless500KStrong will receive 500 KES.
Twitter: The first 100 users daily who tweet a congratulatory message for #Payless500KStrong, tag @payless.africa, and get 500 likes will receive 500 KES.
Payless-to-Payless Transactions: The first 500 users daily who complete five unique transactions of 500 KES or more will receive 500 MB of data.
GenFree Reward: The first 5,000 GenFree users (ages 18-24) daily to add 500 KES or more via M-PESA or bank transfer will receive 500 MB of data.
5. Qualifying Transactions
5.1 The following transactions qualify for the promotion:
Adding Money to the Payless Wallet (minimum KES 500).
Peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers between unique Payless accounts (minimum KES 500).
Adding Money to the Payless Wallet via bank transfer (minimum KES 500).
6. Reward Fulfillment
6.1 Eligible customers will receive rewards through the number registered on their Payless Africa account.
6.2 Cashbacks and data rewards will be automatically credited within 2 hours after completing the qualifying transaction, subject to verification and fraud-checking processes.
7. Verification Process
7.1 All transactions qualifying for rewards will undergo verification, including checks for:
Fraud Prevention: Ensuring transactions are genuine and not part of any fraudulent activity.
Transaction Authenticity: Confirming the transaction was initiated by the verified customer.
Eligibility Compliance: Verifying that the transactions meet all campaign requirements (e.g., minimum transaction amounts, unique transactions).
Payless Africa reserves the right to withhold rewards if a transaction fails to meet these verification criteria.
8. Limitations
8.1 Each customer can earn and receive a reward only ONCE per day and only ONCE during the seven-day campaign period.
8.2 Transactions outside the campaign period are ineligible for rewards under this promotion.
8.3 Transactions below 500 KES will not qualify.
8.4 Reversed, refunded, or canceled transactions will not count toward the five transactions required to qualify.
9. Social Media Content Guidelines
9.1 Creativity and Engagement: Qualifying social media posts must display creative messages and foster engagement to meet eligibility criteria.
9.2 Content Rights: By participating in the campaign, users consent to Payless Africa’s use of their posts, without compensation, for marketing and promotional purposes.
9.3 Platform-Specific Requirements:
